I've been searching for a new comforter set for a while now and I think I've narrowed my search to three but now I'm stuck! I was hoping to get some color on the walls in our room so I was leaning towards the purple or red sets, but I really like the look of the yellow and black one. Too many choices!
Leave a comment and let me know which one you prefer and why. Also, what color would you paint the bedroom with the comforter you've chosen?
I know I won't be of much help, but I really like all of them. The purple one reminds me most of you though!

I like the purple one or the black and yellow one. I can see you more with the purple one. As far as wall color, I'm not sure b/c if you went with it a grayish tone it might be too much gray. Perhaps a light purple??

I too like the purple one but not sure on a wall color. I wouldn't paint all the walls purple as I think it would be too much. I do think it would be a great accent color whether you use it on one wall for a focus and a neutral color (tan or grey) for the rest. I also think if you did something with a chair rail, it would be nice. top one color and bottom another. I like the yellow and black one too but not sure what color I would do the walls. Not much help but maybe sparks some ideas.
ReplyDeleteOh and I do like the cream color on the back of the bed, that could be a choice for wall color....
ReplyDeleteI for sure like either te purple or yellow and black...I'm having a hard time telling the true shades of the two, but I can see either of those options being a good fit for you and Dave.
ReplyDeleteFor the purple I would go with light grey (maybe even accent wall of a dark grey or purple) or a light taupe color (more neutral). Also, call me crazy but would brown look good with it? Again, kind of hard to tell on what shades we are working with here.
For the yellow and black: I think you could take more risk color wise and you would have more options for paint. Greens, reds, blues...kind of depends on how you want the room to feel.
hope that helps some:)

NONE!!! Just kidding...I think Purple only cause the darker color if you had dark wood flooring it would go good...but I think for paint colors it would be easier to deal with for a lighter color of a comforter. U need a neutral color; even a grayish or a tanish color would go great. You definately want a color that matches the comforter. Trust me we learned the hard way! lol...
ReplyDeleteHope this helps!!!
