Here I am in all of my glory with a grumpy looking dog.
Life has still been busy for us. I'm trying to wrap up multiple projects at work. Only working 40 hours luckily, but when I get home I feel like I've worked 80! I'm starting to run out of energy pretty early in the evenings but Dave has everything under control. While I'm busy growing Spud, Dave's been busy with lots of projects. He's our official lawn guy (he won't let me mow). Our lawn in coming in very nicely in places. A few more mowings and the hay should be gone. Then we will hopefully be left with lots of grass. We also had a landscaper plant seed in the rest of our lot so by fall we should be entirely green (and hopefully less muddy).

Dave also found time to build the pack 'n play. Spud will be joining us in our room for a few weeks.
We also built the swing.

Patton had to check it out, of course. I'm not really sure what he thinks of all of this baby stuff invading his house.

My dad installed the shelving in Spud's closet so I was able to unpack all of the bags of stuff that were filling up Spud's crib. We are in the process of painting some dresses for Spud's room so a few of the items in the closet will be moved soon.

Patton's been busy as well. We went to the humane society's fundraiser walk at Haymarket Park on Sunday. He was certainly popular! Since we go to the ballpark all of the time without him, I had to have a photo of him with the balls out front!

He's also been busy finding the perfect nap spot. He loves to lay in the sun and on this day, the only sun was off of the rug. He tried to get as much of him as possible on the rug and not on the hardwood while trying to get in the sun. It was quite entertaining to see the process he had to go through!

Painting DRESSES???? Are you trying to tell us something or was that supposed to be dressers?
ReplyDeleteYes, dressers. Painting dresses would be interesting though!
