Color

Someone once told me that painters are a dime a dozen. I don't know if that's true or not, but I do know that my mom does not fit that description. All this time that my dad has been installing hardwood, Dave has been tiling, and I have been finishing woodwork, she's been painting, painting, and painting. She has painted every wall in my house twice and some even three times. She's had some help along the way - Trent, Tucker, Megan, Jessy, Twila, Dave and myself (hope I didn't forget anyone) but for the most part, she's handled all of the painting. Dave and I are so lucky to have her help and are eternally grateful for all of the painting.

Now, let's tour her hard work.

1st upstairs bedroom - firefly and bear hug

2nd upstairs bedroom - ancient stone
(this room was supposed to be a grey tone, but
it's totally lilac. Yep, we now have a lilac room and
Dave shakes his head every time he walks by.)

3rd upstairs bedroom - retro avocado (one of my favorites)

Great room, foyer, and garage entrance - cornerstone

Kitchen - Hawaiian passion

Laundry room (and bathroom by the garage) - sunset glow

Foyer bathroom - clair de lune

Master bedroom - toasted cashew & garnet

Office - asparagus

4-Season room - bicycle yellow

My mom even tackled scaffolding to paint! Now that's a trooper. In between painting, she's also been bringing lunch on Saturdays. Amazing!

Just so you know, she's my mom and I'm keeping her.
