The Whiffle Thumb*

You think he'd learn....

Nine years after he broke his hand sliding into second base during a softball game, he did it again. Yep, last Monday, Dave dove into second base and broke his thumb.

Luckily, he doesn't have to have surgery this time. His thumb is only broken in one place and the break didn't displace the bone. He gets to wear this lovely brace around for the next few weeks while it heals.



He hasn't let this slow him down though. He's still changing diapers and getting Amelia dressed every morning.

Maybe at 30 years old, he'll learn his lesson this time!

2 Months Old!

Our Amelia is already 2 months old! These two months have flown by!

She's been an incredibly happy baby. It really doesn't take much to get a big 'ol smile from her!

We've been working on our tummy time. As you can tell, it takes lots of concentration.

We spent the weekend at state softball. Amelia was practicing.

I head back to work tomorrow and Amelia starts daycare. I'm looking forward to getting back to my job but it will be hard to not get to spend all day with her! She'll be in good hands and will have lots of fun playing with the other babies. These 2 months have gone way too fast!
